tbh, its just for me a logical bet, with CL coming up midweek can you tell me wenger will be more anxious to win the psv tie or over exert his already crocked lot against reading, bearing in mind he has 2 games in hand on any team challenging for europe let alone bolton as well as being 2pts up on them too.
With the exeption of Fabregas & Lehman, im not sure who else is stepping in to dynamically change the fortunes of the team that played against Blackburn.
No one can doubt Arsenal on their day, but with all thats been going on and the lack of conviction in front of goal, you gotta consider for the first time in a while that Arsenal may be lacking in confidence.
Not all season have they lost this many influential players like Henry, v.Persie, Adebayour, Rosicky, Toure, Eboue, Diaby and Flamini.
I have thought long and hard as to whether Wenger feels he can get anything from the PSV game or to sacrifice it to enable CL football next season where he will have a more mature and hopefully injury free one too.
My thoughts are, not a chance !
With Adebayour, Toure and possibly Eboue(if his injury is not serious) available for that game and a "very slight outside chance" Henry could be in contention for it too, he will regard them having every bit of a chance to overturn the 1st leg result.
With the players Reading have rested during the cup and the consistency of overall team contribution all over the pitch, i can't see why they can't take a pt off Arsenal on saturday and put behind them that 4-0 thrashing at the Madjeski, this is as good a time as any.
